Rowena is a poet, storycarrier, tear-listener, survivor, and barefoot student of Giants, rivers, darkness, and healing.
She has battled shame, self blame, loss of voice and identity. Through redeeming her own experiences of violence, she embodies a deep empathy for the wounds many of us carry. She is a fierce and loving advocate for the intelligence of feelings, and balances this with an understanding of the importance of the practical, and everyday world.
Rowena has studied poetry, film, online media, South Pacific healing, and massage therapy and has a love of water. She has experienced life as a business owner, mentor of personal growth, served as a Skimpy barmaid, rode the waves of managing the office for a surfboard factory, and worked in mining, manufacture and local government.
She is the mother of two wildlings and lives in Perth, Australia.
